Pastor John Montalvo teaches about the importance of being Biblical Discerning Christians. Paul warns Timothy and us about the coming perilous days and perilous people (difficult and dangerous days). Paul teaches about the necessity recognizing the season of deception, and the sham of the imposters who externally appear godly with the purpose to deceive, but internally are empty of the transforming power of the Lord Jesus Christ. He says "from such turn away" as they will only go from bad to worse because of their rebellion and rejection of the Lord Jesus Christ. How are we to respond to such days? Live godly in Christ Jesus (3:12), Continue in the Word (3:14), Preach the Word no matter what (4:2), Watch, endure afflictions, witness for Jesus (4:5), and Fight the good fight of faith and finish strong (4:7). Like Paul, Jesus will deliver us (3:11), make us wise (3:15), perfect us (3:17), crown us (4:8), strengthen us (4:17), and preserve us (4:18). Blessings.
